Tools to support the process of early detection of defects and dysfunctions of the masticatory organ on the example of a School Project.
Dr. Martyna Henschke will talk about how remote monitoring tools have changed the treatment of malocclusion in young patients. Parents' awareness of the need to treat malocclusion in children is growing all the time. Caregivers are increasingly aware that it is not only a matter of aesthetics, but also of health, and neglected malocclusion can, among other things, increase the risk of developing caries and periodontal disease, cause problems with the functioning of the temporomandibular joint, pronunciation, biting and chewing.
With the development of modern technology, orthodontic therapy for children and adolescents is becoming less invasive, time-consuming and more comfortable for patients. On how remote monitoring tools have changed the treatment of malocclusion in children, during the webinar "When is the best time to start orthodontic treatment? Tools supporting the process of early detection of defects and dysfunctions of the masticatory organ on the example of Project School," will be told by Dr. Martyna Henschke. She is a graduate of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences and the Jagiellonian University's Medical School of Postgraduate Education in orthodontics, a certified practitioner of DSD, Invisalign, Spark Aligners and the Damon system, and passionate about modern digital technologies.

- how to arouse awareness in parents and young patients about the need for malocclusion treatment,

The webinar will also present findings from the author's "School Project" using the Dental Monitoring system implemented at the Bloom Nonpublic School in Wolsztyn on a group of 50 children aged 6-12.
